End of Trail Chapter Meeting
Harry Myers will talk on the Texan invasions of New Mexico. A brief business meeting will follow. Eldorado Community Center, 1 Hacienda Loop in Eldorado at Santa Fe.
Chapter will meet at the Las Animas Senior Center, 308 6th St, Las Animas, CO at noon and start with a potluck lunch. The chapter will provide chile and bowls, participants should bring their own service and a side dish. Following lunch Lolly Ming will give a presentation on the Aubry Trail, a route of the Santa Fe Trail. Guests are welcome
Chapter members will meet at Boggsville, Las Animas CO, for a spring clean up day. We will rake leaves, pick up trash, paint, repair, and help get the site ready for the 2010 tourist season

Quivira Chapter joint meeting with the McPherson Historical Society at the McPherson Municipal Center, City Commission Meeting Room, 400 E. Kansas, McPherson, KS. John Martin will give the program on "The Ed Miller Story."
TIME TBA. Glorieta Battlefield, Pecos National Historical Park. Don Alberts will guide a walk on the new interpretive trail south of Pigeon's Ranch. A two hour walk on a graded and graveled trail.
Santa Fe Trail wagon ruts at the Carmelite Monastery (near Old Santa Fe Trail and Camino Monte Sol Streets). Also possible a stop at the "End of Trail" sculpture near Museum Hill and Amelia White park.
