Planned Events of the Dodge City/Fort Dodge/Cimarron Chapter
2007 marks the 20th anniversary of the Santa Fe Trail as a National Historic Trail
This year is a very special year for the Santa Fe Trail Association as we
celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Santa Fe Trail being a National Historic
Trail. We will celebrate our 16th year in existence with a Bring Your Spouse
for a Night Out dinner meeting on Sunday, May 20th, 5:30 pm, in the
Occident, at Boot Hill Museum. In lieu of a program, we will discuss our
Chapter history as well as looking at the significance of the Santa Fe Trail as
an Historic National Trail. We need your dinner reservations by
Wednesday, May 16. For reservations, please call me at 227-1616 or Kathie
Bell at 227-8188. The cost of the meal, which includes tax and tip, is
$13.50 per person. Everyone is encouraged to come for this meeting to
reflect on our past, plan for the future, and just have a fun time. Please plan
on joining us on the 20th.
